Province

The Province was established with the foundation of the first College in Australia, in 1886, by R.W. Fra. Dr Thomas Sanderson Bulmer, who soon after departed the Colony and spent his final years in America, leaving the fledgling College and Province in the hands of the few fratres he had admitted to the Society by personal authority from High Council.

Since the founding of the first College there have been a further five warrants issued for Victoria, although one of these Colleges transferred to the Province of Queensland in 2019. The above map indicates the existing Colleges and further details for each can be found for each by clicking here.

The Province is led by a Chief Adept and his Provincial Officers. A Provincial Council assists the Chief Adept in the administration of the Province. The Council consists of the Provincial Officers and College Celebrants.
