Travel Information

The 25th of March is a national holiday in Greece. There will be a military parade in Athens downtown at Syndagma Square. The parade lasts from 11.00 to 12.30 and the area around the Parliament is closed for the cars. Especially this year some happenings will be organized in Syndagma Square area, however we do not yet know how long these will last.

For your transportation from the Airport to the hotel, the easiest way is to take a taxi. There is a fix price of 35 EUR during normal day hours. Taxi is reimbursed by the project.

If you want to try the public transportation you have two options:

- The bus Airport - Syndagma (X95), then the metro (red line) to Acropolis station.

- The metro blue line from the Airport to Syndagma, then the metro red line to Acropolis.
