Fridays (F4F5F6), NTHU, Physics Building, Room 501
Classes are on Fridays 11:10-12:00, 13:20-14:10 and 14:20-15:10 at the NTHU Physics Building, Room 501
In this course we will discuss extensions of the Standard Model of Particle Physics focusing on the neutrino sector. In particular, possible origins of neutrino masses are discussed together with their implications for ongoing and future experimental searches. Another highlight is the role of neutrinos in the early universe.
The students are required to have a solid background in quantum mechanics and some basic statistical physics.
