There are various expenses involved with the events, primarily, artists’ fees and their travel/accommodation expenses. We also need to book auditoriums or concert halls, which on occasions costs us. We raise funding for these concerts mainly through kind donations by faculty and staff, and by applying for financial grants given to student organizations by various associations such as The Former Student Association. 

It is to this end that we request for your financial support in promoting Indian Classical Music and Dance forms here at TAMU. Your contribution, however small, will be greatly helpful to us. In addition, we are also open to the proposals for funding an entire concert by donating $1500 or more – we will mention your name as a sponsor while publicizing that concert. Please let us know if you would like to contribute or discuss more – we would be happy to stop by your office.

Please note that we accept donations by checks, cash, or online. We will be happy to collect checks/cash from your office, or you can bring them with you when you attend our events.

If you prefer using a check, please make the check payable to “SPICMACAY TAMU”. Donations made directly to SPIC MACAY TAMU are not tax deductible.

Your donations can be used to claim tax exemption. If you would like to make a tax deductible gift, please make a check payable to “Texas A&M Foundation” and reference our organization name (SPICMACAY) and SOFC account number (943300) on the check.  Gifts are tax deductible as defined by law. The checks to the Foundation can also be mailed to “401 George Bush Drive College Station, TX 77840”.

For making donations online, please visit givenow.tamu.edu. Please select “Contribute to a fund not listed online”, and then enter our organization name (SPICMACAY) and SOFC account number (943300) in the box marked “Gift fund name or number.”  Please note that the donations made online are also tax deductible as defined by law.
