WELCOME

Welcome to the Texas A&M Chapter of SPICMACAY! (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music Among Youth). SPICMACAY is a non-profit, voluntary student organization aimed at conserving and promoting the rich legacy of Indian classical art forms by engaging the youth of Texas A&M.

We organize two main events: Swaralaya, in which we invite renowned artists around the globe to perform here at TAMU, and Baithak, which is a platform for the members of the Aggie community to showcase their talents in Indian classical music and dance. The goal of these events is to not only provide an opportunity to meet and listen to outstanding artists but also nurture interest in these art forms.

We will be meeting biweekly in the MSC on Mondays from 5:30 - 6:30 pm! If you are interested in being a part of SPICMACAY TAMU, join our GroupMe by clicking here for all our latest updates!
