Teen Living 2

COURSE PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION

Teen Living addresses issues of their adolescents and their relationships involving family, school, and community. Students are encouraged to evaluate their attitudes, consider adult issues, and then go beyond self to consider the impact of their decisions and actions on themselves, family, school, and community. Students enrolled in Teen Living II will gain knowledge in the following units of study: management of money and personal resources, interpersonal skills, families in today’s society, child development and care, and teen employment.

The FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) organization is used as a model for instruction and includes a variety of practical learning activities.
