Hemant A. Patil is a Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India, in 2006. His research interests include speaker and dialect recognition, infant cry analysis and wavelet signal processing. He is an author several research papers in national and international conferences/journals/book chapters.
