How do I set the Picture Key?

Answer:

I forgot my Code Key or Picture Key, what can I do?

Answer: You will have to delete and reinstall. So don't forget ;)

Can I make it harder or easier to unlock using the Picture Key?

Answer: Yes. Go to the Picture Key settings and you will see a menu to adjust the "accuracy". Practice makes perfect! :)

What will happen when I upgrade my device (E.g. from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 5)?

Answer: Due to the nature of the unlocking method, your security settings will be reset upon upgrading your device. A message will inform you when this happens.

Why is there a delay when I enter a photo or video album after a lot of new files are added?

Answer: Thumbnail images are created for each new file added. For a lot of newly added files, you may experience a pause as the application is generating the new thumbnails images. Thumbnail images are created to reduce memory usage.

What is the largest size for a photo does the application support?

Answer: For an iPhone, a maximum file size of 2.5 MB is recommended for photos. Anything larger is not recommended and the user may experience slowness or memory warnings from the iPhone.

Why are some videos not showing up after I import them through iTunes?

Answer: The app uses the standard video libraries of the device. If they do not show up, the video format / encoding is not supported by default by the device.

E.g. If iTunes does not transfer the file to your iPhone / iPad outside of the app, then the video is not supported by your device.

Does the application work on the iPad?

Answer: Yes. It will look like any other iPhone application ran on the iPad.

What is the "iTunes Sharing" folder that I see in the Photo / Video Albums?

Answer: It is the folder that shows up in iTunes, where you transfer files from your computer to Secret Stuff directly.

I see a "thmb" folder under the Secret Stuff Documents list in iTunes. Can I delete it if there are left over files?

Answer: Yes, it can be deleted anytime. It is used when browsing iTunes shared files. Usually thumbnail files are cleaned up automatically if they are moved / deleted within the application.
