Tags and Tag Library

Every model can contain a set of tag groups. Using these groups, elements can be tagged. Tag groups can be imported from a tag library. Tag groups for a model can be edited. The current version of the tag library provided with Southbeach is attached below for reference.

    • Explorer panel - Tags

      • Right mouse to add/edit tags

      • Set tag groups as inclusive or exclusive

      • Drag tags onto agents as required

      • Rename tag groups

      • Remove a tag from the mode

    • Right mouse on agents - Tags sub-menu - to set or unset a tag

      • Plus option to show or hide tags for that element

    • In the agent views - Explorer panel - View the model by Tags

      • Also drag agents in the Tag View to change their tag values (complements all other forms of editing tags)

    • Tool tips on agents and effects display all tag values for that element

Southbeach provides a tag library

    • Toolbox panel - Tags

    • Tag groups organized into areas

    • Right mouse to add a tag group to the model

    • Drag tags from library onto agents as required

Make agents from tag groups (quick best practice creation)

    • From tag library right mouse menu, create named agents from the tag values

    • From tag library right mouse menu, create tagged agents from the tag values

Extending or changing the tag library

    • Look in the My Documents/southbeach/MyTags directory

    • Open the usertags.txt file for instructions

    • Add new .txt files as required

      • Add, suppress or change tag areas

      • Add, suppress or change tag groups

      • Add, suppress or change individual tag names

With MyCreativity

    • Use tags to match either patterns or macros

    • @tag

    • @taggroup

    • @taggroup:tag (fully qualified)

    • Works like all other creativity, combine with any other attributes, e.g. useful+@priority:P1

    • Using tags in patterns limits the application of a rule to matching agents

    • Using tags as macros pulls out agent list from model matching those tags
