Southbeach Modeller lets you create, edit, explore and manipulate Southbeach models. The Modeller maintains a list of recently opened models. The list can be cleared down when required for confidentiality in a workshop.

The software is structured around menus, panels, tabs within panels, a modelling canvas, and an application bar. Dragging and dropping is used extensively in the user interface. Many of the panel backgrounds, panel titles, tabs and items displayed in those views also respond to the right mouse button. These context menus provide access to more functions and options.
