We are always looing for motivated and talented new members to join our group. There are openings for PhD students, Post-Doctoral Fellows, Junior Research Fellows and Visiting Students.
The entry for PhD is through the TIFR Graduate School Admission test. Our lab has vacancies. If you have been selected for a PhD in TIFR, feel free to contact me if you are interested in a PhD position in my group.
We are actively looking for a post-doctoral fellow [May 2025]. If you are interested in a post-doctoral position in our group: please send a brief research proposal describing your anticipated research activities at TIFR along with your CV (including your publications and names of 2 referees familiar with your work). We offer a vibrant and friendly research atmosphere and we have a variety of projects on ultracold atoms, molecules, trapped ions and quantum optics. Prior experience in one of these fields will be helpful but is not necessary.
We also welcome applications from recipient of fellowships such as SERB-NPDF, D.S. Kothari Fellowship and DST-INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship. Please apply early, preferably 4-6 months before your tentative date of joining.
We are looking for a long term JRF position (4 years) and PhD in our group [May 2025]. The JRF project is on ultracold atoms and atomic magnetometry. Having cleared a national level test (JEST, NET, GATE, JAM, TIFR etc) is preferred. Contact me if interested.

If you are looking for a visiting student position (for MSc thesis, BTech / BSc thesis etc.), please send your CV along with the names of 1-2 referees. You should be willing to spend a minimum of 9 months as a MSc thesis student or a minimum of 6 months as a visiting student.
