Margaret Chula has published eight collections of poetry including, most recently, Daffodils at Twilight. Her haiku collection, Grinding My Ink, received the Haiku Society of America Merit Book Award. She has been a featured speaker and workshop leader at writers’ conferences throughout the United States, as well as in Poland, Canada, and Japan. Maggie has also served as president of the Tanka Society of America and as poet laureate for Friends of Chamber Music. Living in Kyoto for twelve years, she now makes her home in Portland, Oregon. Terry Ann Carter, a poet and paper artist, is the author of five collections of poetry and five chapbooks of haiku. A Crazy Man Thinks He's Ernest in Paris (Black Moss Press, 2010) was shortlisted for the Archibald Lampman Award. She is the coeditor (with George Swede) of Erotic Haiku: Skin on Skin (Black Moss Press, 2017), and a Touchstone Distinguished Book Award winner for Tokaido (Red Moon Press, 2017). Terry Ann is the former president of Haiku Canada and founder of the Haiku Arbutus group in Victoria, British Columbia. She has given workshops on haiku and making art books all over the world.
