Benjamin Schmitt is the author of four books, most recently The Saints of Capitalism (New Meridian Arts, November 2021) and Soundtrack to a Fleeting Masculinity. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Sojourners, Antioch Review, The Good Men Project, Hobart, Columbia Review, Spillway, and elsewhere. A cofounder of Pacifica Writers’ Workshop, he has also written articles for The Seattle Times and At The Inkwell. He lives in Seattle with his wife and children. Sylvia Byrne Pollack, a hard-of-hearing scientist and poet, has had her work appear in Floating Bridge Review, Crab Creek Review, The Stillwater Review, and many other journals. A two-time Pushcart nominee, she won the 2013 Mason’s Road Literary Award, was a 2019 Jack Straw Writer, and a 2021 Mineral School Resident.
