Nicole Hardy is the author of This Blonde and Mud Flap Girl’s XX Guide to Facial Profiling, selected for publication in Main Street Rag’s Editor’s Choice chapbook series. She earned her MFA at the Bennington College Writing Seminars and was nominated for a 2007 Pushcart Prize. One of her essays recently appeared in the New York Times’ “Modern Love”column, and she has poems forthcoming in Nimrod, Sanskrit, and Ellipsis.

Arlene Kim grew up on the east coast of the United States and now lives and writes on the west coast. She received a BA in literature from Brown University and an MFA in poetry from the University of Minnesota where her work won the 2007 Academy of American Poets James Wright Prize. You can find some of her poems in Diagram, Switched on Gutenberg, Cha, Cant, and soon in Blackbird. Her first collection, What have you done to our ears to make us hear echoes?
