Melanie Reed is a writer and visual artist with a creative writing BA from the University of Washington. Publication credits include the prose poetry collection, Wholehearted Half-Truths, a speculative fiction/psychological suspense novella, Every Other Day, and a graphic novel/epic poem/soul collage book artwork, The Scrapbook of Dreams (in the University of Washington’s Suzzallo Library special collections). She lives in Seattle, Washington.

Art Gomez was born and crazed in Omaha, Nebraska, where he subjected schoolmates to a bad pun cartoon, “The Further Adventures of Cliché Man.” In Seattle, Washington, since 1981, he is now retired from the field of developmental disabilities. He has been published by various entities you may have heard of and certainly some you have not. Art is a former host of PoetsWest at Seattle’s Green Lake Library.
