Jeffrey Kahrs is the author of One Hook at a Time: A History of the Deep Sea Fishermen’s Union of the Pacific, a chapbook from Gold Wake Press, and a book of poems, The Far Shore. His translations and fiction and nonfiction writing have appeared in the Bosphorus Review of Books, PN Review, Modern Poetry in Translation, Asymptote, Circumference, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He lived in Istanbul for 18 years.

Deborah Woodard is a poet and translator living in Seattle. She has published her translations from the Italian of Amelia Rosselli with New Directions, Entre Rios Books, and World Poetry Books. A longtime teacher at Hugo House, she is the author of Borrowed Tales (Stockport Flats) and No Finis: Triangle Testimonies, 1911 (Ravenna Press). She is currently working on Borrowed Tales 2.
