Sonja Reynolds has twenty six years of horn teaching experience, including nine years at The Music School and over twenty years with the American Fork band programs. Sonja has toured with BYU’s top ensembles and The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps nationwide, to the Middle East and the Orient.

Sonja was selected as the Utah Valley Symphony Young Artist Soloist in 1993 and also for several Utah Intercollegiate Bands. 

She is a member of  the Utah Premiere Brass (President; solo tenor horn, 12 years; manager, 10 years), and is  a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square and an active freelance artist in the Salt Lake area.

In addition to having students selected to attend the Interlochen Arts Camp, many of Sonja's students have received college music scholarships at schools such as the San Francisco Conservatory, are regularly accepted to All State, and are themselves pursuing careers in music.
