Master's Recital for Jada Poteat, featuring beloved music by a variety of composers, including the premiere of Allan Friedman's "Hymn to Surya".  Conducted by current SONAM Fellow and candidate for Master of Music in Choral Conducting at UNC Greensboro, Jada Poteat.

Judea Reform Congregation, Durham, NC

SONAM and musical members of Judea Reform's community perform Allan Friedman's Erev Shabbat and Torah Service, composed for chorus, soloists, and chamber orchestra in a wide variety of musical styles, including latin, jazz, gospel, rock, classical, and folk. All proceeds go to Musical Empowerment to support their work in providing music lessons to young underserved community members in Chapel Hill and Durham.
