Protected Species Assessments

Projects that require expediture of public money usually require that the development have minimal or no impact to protected plant or animal species. Environmental consultants can help assess the presence of site habitat for federally or state protected species and offer methods to mitigate impacts.

Jack-in-the pulpit (Arisaema triphyllum) shown in this photo is not a protected species in North Carolina, but it is a nice speciment plant.
