Target Process Line

The definition of the software process line that was used to allow comparing the investigated approaches it was based in analysis of the OpenUP-based processes from three existing research and development projects developed in cooperation between our institution and other ones (extractive technique). These research and development projects are characterized as:

1. Development of a software system for auditing the telephony networks. This system performs the counting, summarization, and the analyses of the connection records created by a specific hardware.
2. Development of a module of a distributed system responsible for the collection and the storage of the information related to the federal institutions of professional and technological education in our country.
3. Development of an integrated academic and administrative management system for the federal institutions of professional and technological education in our country.

After the commonalities and variabilities analysis, the common process elements formed the core of the process line, the variable elements were associated with high-level features. The following links describe the process line core and the high-level features and their associated process elements.
