Conference on Economic Design:
The biennial conference debuted in Istanbul in 2000. The webpages of the past conferences can be found below. The conference switched from even years to odd years in 2009. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 conference was in 2022.
The 14th CoED will be organized at the University of Essex, England in Summer, 2025
Two of the plenary lectures have been recently renamed after our two late founders as Murat Sertel and Paul Kleindorfer Lectures, the latter of which is given by a young distinguished scholar in the area of economic design. The third lecture is named after the founder of the area of mechanism design, Leonid Hurwicz. Additionally, special sessions on specific topics and contributed sessions make up of the conference programs.
