Incorporating social media tools into medical education

Workshops at AAIM2010 (San Antonio, TX) and AAMC2010 (Washington, DC)

The goal of this workshop is to help participants feel more comfortable using basic social media tools in medical education. Led by workshop faculty who are “super-users’’ of these technologies, participants will become familiar with basic social media functions, review the various uses of selected tools in medical education, and practice hands-on skills in small groups (participants will select two of four possible skill stations: Twitter, wikis, podcasts, blogs).
