Coaches are always needed
Please select interest in coaching during registration and contact Tony Hudson at sladelax@gmail.com if you are interested in coaching. Coaching in our program is a great way to be more involved in your son’s activities. The success of the program is based on the dedication of our coaches and volunteers. Want to thank them all for making our program successful!
MSCS Service Hours:
In the past, 20 Service hours were distributed per team at the discretion of the teams head coach and commissioner. Now each team is alloted 45 hours but distributed under the following Athletic Councils guidlines.
Head Coach 12 Hours
Assist Coach #1 10 Hours
Assist Coach #2 10 Hours
Team Parent 5 Hours
Archdiocese SVT Training requirements
Parent volunteers for all programs are required to complete the archdiocese Shield the Vulnerable training.

Archdiocese of Baltimore Child and Youth Protection Policy Requirements for Volunteers
All volunteers in the Archdiocese of Baltimore must complete the following requirements on our compliance management system,Shield the Vulnerable, before volunteering:
Archdiocesan Application for Volunteer Service
A Statement of Policy for the Protection of Children & Youth
Code of Conduct for Church Personnel

Anne Arundel County Recs and Parks Coaching requirements
All head coaches and assistant coaches must be county certified through the Anne Arundel County Background Check Program. Team parents that have direct interaction with the players are required to complete a background check too. More information at http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/background/index.cfm.
All head coaches must be certified through the Anne Arundel County Coaches Certification Clinic Program.
Assist coaches should consider taken the coaches clinics as well as they may need to conduct the practices and games for the head coach. More information at http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/coaches_information/coaches_clinic.cfm
