AACo Coaches Clinics
All Youth Head Coaches in County-sponsored leagues must be certified every three years. To assist with this vital undertaking, the clinic covers topics such as, departmental procedures, coaching philosophy, sports psychology, legal matters, health and much more. Coaches lacrosse training through US Lacrosse
The US Lacrosse training program includes:
• Level 1 and Level 2 Online courses
• Level 1, 2, and 3 Instructional clinics
• Full Certification for Level 1 and Level 2
• Continuing Education Opportunities
• Officials Training Programs
Level 1 online course is free to all US Lacrosse members. US Lacrosse level 1, 2, and 3 Coaches Clinics will be available throughout the Fall and Spring for interested coaches. This is an invaluable clinic for new and returning coaches. Click Here for more information on clinics in our area.

The purpose of the Department of Recreation and Parks’ Background Check Program is to ensure that every individual who interacts with children undergoes a criminal history records check. The objective of the Background Check Program is to provide parents with peace of mind knowing their children are provided a safe and positive experience. All Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches are required to completed a backgound check every three years. Click Here for more information.
