Need help making tap

Hi,

Im fairly new to sketchup and currently ive been making alot of bathroom objects. but i dont know how to create a complex tap such as this one due to it not being any particular shape can someone please send me a tutorial on how to create these complex objects or show/tell me how to do it. The Cad drawing for the tap is attached to the thread just import it into sketchup. Thank you :)

Here's one way to do the handle with Push/Pull and Scale...

I just remembered a script called pushpulltool.rb which pulls a face along a vector. It could come in handy by saving a step or two. In this example, a face could be pulled up following the handle profile -which would cut out the time spent initially positioning the newly pulled up face. The script only requires that you click on two points on the original DXF pattern side profile.

Kohler provides 3d dwg files of some of their fixtures and faucets. You might try to see if you can get something that matches from there. All you'd have to do is load it into SU and then clean it up.
