Bamboo Sled
2013-02-23
BSA Troop 909 Falcons won the North Lakes Klondike Derby four years in a row (Update: Won again in 2014). To keep their edge in 2013, Karl and Erik built a strong, lightweight sled from bamboo grass and cloth. With this sled they won the Dash to Dawson for the first time. They steam bent white oak skis for the two runners.
