2017 ARTE documentation

All are invited to send any Arctic Tern observations that you think would help to document their 2017 occurrence and breeding in Skagway. Send your observations to:  sbc@aptalaska.net

The roped & signed tern nesting protection area on the Ore peninsula is new this year.   It was arranged by the Borough Parks & Rec Committee.  If you see birds on Borough property anywhere in town that should be protected, please contact the Municipality of Skagway at 907-983-2297.
