An Explanation
Following-on from my previous projects, I am now doing this '100-Lines Project'.
Beginning on 2nd January 2015, my intention is to produce two images - which consist solely of horizontal and vertical lines - each week until I have produced 100.
Much of the thinking is the same as the original 'Blue-on-Blue' project. I am not producing art but images that merely reflect my mood.
The colours are the same - blue (RGB: 00007F) and blue (RGB: A3B5FF).
See an explanation of the original 'Blue-on-Blue' project using the colours to which I refer above at Blue-On-Blue-Too.
How this project is done
A die-within-a-die is rolled. The inner die gives the number of horizontal lines to be drawn, the outer (enveloping) die gives the number of vertical lines to be drawn. (As before, this drawing is done using PowerPoint.) All horizontal and vertical lines must intersect with at least one other horizontal or vertical line as appropriate. No viewing of previous images is allowed immediately prior to a new image being constructed. Line length and line position is allocated randomly but aesthetically.
