The Society for Psychotherapy Research is an international, multidisciplinary scientific association devoted to research on psychotherapy. SPR encourages the development of research on psychotherapy as well as aims to support and enhance both the empirical basis and applied value of research on psychotherapy.
We are launching the SPR Asia Regional Affiliate Group. This is our first meeting. Please be a part of this historic moment! Researchers in clinical and counselling psychology, practitioners, and students are all
welcomed to join. It is free of charge and we would like you to get connected with other researchers and practitioners in Asian countries! You do not have to be a SPR member to join. The meeting will be in English.
The seminar will focus on
Psychotherapy training and supervision in Asia
Students' perspective on how psychotherapy research informs their practice
Introduction of psychotherapy research in the Asian context and the SPR-Asia group
Welcome to
Any psychotherapy practitioner, researcher, or student currently residing in a country/region in Asia
Those in other geographic areas can join as well (they may be interested in connecting with Asian therapists
