... we wanted to go further... and so we chose to send a successful original production to the
Fringe Odyssey in Edmonton, Alberta... to do so we fundraised... with productions such as...
Dark Side of Oz... aired at the Oxford Theatre on Friday the 13th... a must-see splicing of
Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon as the soundtrack to the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz ...
... the idea to adapt Pulp Fiction to be performed in one location surfaced... and in the month of
August... Purple Octogon Theatre came together like never before to produce the world premiere of... Pulp Fiction - LIVE! (Halifax, NS) a theatrical adaptation of the cult classic staged to a Sold Out crowd in Ryan Duffy's Speak Easy with twenty-one scenes and twenty actors...
and so Code Red travelled across the country and was performed in Edmonton in September... upon our return a 30 foot wide peace symbol was created in October out of grass and rocks...
and in November we produced an evening of original comedy at the Party House with eight comedic vignettes in The Comedy Showcase
