IOT Based Software Projects
My research has focused on software engineering, particularly empirical software engineering (SE), pair programming for CS/SE teaching and SE experimentation.
General research agenda involves in studies that perform empirical evaluation with regard to SE practices, methods, and tools which could help obtain better quality SE research. These include employing scientific or systematic approach in undertaking the studies, and performing a rigorous analysis on SE experimentation. I believe this could contribute to advancing the SE discipline through quality empirical studies.
At present I have a major interest in the following research:
Software outsourcing contract management from vendor's perspective.
Software multisourcing relationship management.
Cloud computing.
Development Operation
Cyber Security
Internet of Things
Quantum Software Engineering
Understanding the challenges faced by vendor organisations in offshore software development activities.
Applying systematic approach in conducting review of literature. For example, using the systematic literature review (SLR) method or systematic mapping studies (SMS) to understand the existing state of evidence in SE studies.
Applying visual text mining to support the evidence-based software engineering (EBSE) research.
Research related to improving CS/SE education system including investigating standards, practices, techniques, and tools for effective teaching and learning in higher education environment.
