Steve Semak is a Certified Massage Therapist who is licensed and insured to provide Relaxing Full Body Table Massages and Seated Chair Massages.

Steve studied massage and did his massage internship at Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, where he earned his certification. He has taken continuing education courses at Bodywork Emporium and by video instruction.

He has had experience of working at some of the more exclusive spas and gymnasiums. He has been the massage therapist for former Los Angeles Dodgers and for many well-known actors. He was hired to be the massage therapist of the major motion picture "Not Another Teen Movie".

Steve incorporates a combination of Acupressure, Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Tui Na, Reflexology and his technique that he calls Meridian Tracing into his soothing massage sessions.

Steve's massage sessions will help you to heal emotional, spiritual and physical pain and will release your tension and stress.

He will perform outcall sessions at your home, hotel, movie location or other locations as needed. Steve appreciates being allowed into your home. He will show up dressed in casual loose fitting clothing, usually in scrubs or in a T-shirt and shorts. (Different attire can be worn during corporate events) Steve brings his comfortable padded massage table, fresh linens and uses pleasantly scented massage oil that is both penetrating and warming. You are welcome to play relaxing music and light candles.

While Steve is setting up the massage table, is a great time to tell him about all of the illnesses you have had and about any injuries that are currently giving you troubles. Once the massage table has been prepared, Steve will ask to use your restroom in order to wash his hands. While he is doing this, is the time for you to remove all of your clothing, including under garments, and all jewelry. You will get on the table, starting facedown, with the top sheet covering you.

While giving you the massage, Steve will move the sheet exposing only the portion of your body that he is working on. Steve prefers to be silent during the massage session, but he encourages you to tell him if any aspect of the massage feels uncomfortable to you. He prides himself by being able to get therapy to your deeper tissues using acupoints rather than using a lot of pressure like what some other therapists do. Excessive pressure will cause pain during and days after a bad massage. Please tell Steve if you feel any pain during your massage. You may feel so relaxed during your massage that you fall asleep. That's fine, let yourself go.

After your massage has been completed, Steve will again use your restroom to wash his hands. This is the time for you to get up off of the massage table. Take your time! Some people feel a little "light-headed" or "spacey" right after a massage. Most will feel euphoric.

While Steve is packing up his massage table and equipment, you could take a quick shower to rinse the massage oil off. Others leave the massage oil on, which is very good for the skin.

Massage Therapy is more therapeutic if done on a regular basis. Each massage therapy session's effect is cumulative if not done too far apart from each other. Discuss your goals with Steve. If your goal is to eliminate pain, he will give you a therapeutic schedule to follow.

Steve loves giving massages to couples and whole families. He also does multi-person parties. He has been hired to give massages at Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties, Grand Openings, Health Fairs, Corporate Events and Gatherings of Good Friends.
