Available Services Include:
Housing Transition and Navigation: Assisting individuals and families in finding and maintaining stable housing.
Housing Deposits: Providing financial assistance for move-in costs, such as security deposits and essential utilities.
Food and Nutritional Support: Ensuring access to healthy and nutritious food options.

CDBG Emergency Assistance Program
Through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Emergency Assistance Program, Sierra Saving Grace offers critical support to individuals and families facing immediate financial hardships. This program is aimed at preventing homelessness and ensuring that our community members have access to essential resources during times of crisis.
Emergency Assistance Includes:
Rental and Utility Assistance: Temporary support to help cover overdue bills and prevent evictions or service disconnections.
Mortgage Assistance: Providing financial support to help individuals and families remain in their homes.
Deposit Assistance: Helping with essential deposits such as first month’s rent or utility deposits to facilitate stable housing.
This program is available exclusively to residents of the City of Merced and is dependent on the availability of funding.
