The Chaser Game
The Chaser Game is a simple, LAN-based multiplayer game. It is designed to follow the core principles of .io games:
- Have the player be able to hop right into a game with one click.
- Be super simple to learn, but difficult to master.
- Allow the player to "scale" their authority in-game. For example, in agar.io you grow a lot bigger and scarier the more you eat.
- Either be competitive or cooperative.
English Sentence Relevancy Analysis (ESRA)
The goal of ESRA is to compare two words or sentences and assign a relevancy score to them, showing how related the two pieces of text are. ESRA combines CoreNLP (a natural language processor) and OWL (world ontology language) in order to find out information about two terms or sentences, then weights this information using values trained through a genetic algorithm.
FooDonate
FooDonate is an Android app that allows users to create accounts to either donate or accept food. Google maps is integrated into the app.
Forget Me Not
Forget Me Not is an Android app that helps patients remember important people and places by tagging images. They can label important pictures and play a game using those pictures.

Hack Attack is an Android game that teaches students some fundamental programming skills.
Neural Network Simulation
Simulation uses two actors with initially random movement and shooting patterns. Movement and collision data is sent to two separate neural networks that will 'learn' from the data and output movement and shooting instructions to the simulation. Optimally, the actors will learn to shoot more accurately and dodge effectively.
Random Forest Classification
The project will be to implement a classifier which employs decision trees. The program will either be a web application or run from the command line interface. Data will be accepted in the form of text file prescribing to some (yet to be determined) formatting. Outputs will be saved as text files (also in a yet to be determined format). The expectation for the random forest is for it to be fairly robust allowing it to be trained and theoretically be used for many different classification problems.
