A few factories including Rogers in USA produced thousands of these engines , variation according to buyers request , commonly featured in cowboy films , this is reasonably powerful and have reasonable adhesion , it is a good steamer .I wanted to build one of these very popular engines to add to my collection . Avery popular NSW steam engine for mixed traffic , a good all rounder engine , there were 199 engines , these engines were built in UK , USA and Australia and different liveries , my model is painted Matt black as most full size were black . See short video and attachments.
