This morning the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) announced that all classes are cancelled for students, beginning on Monday, December 5th, and until further notice, due to concerns about student supervision.
Work locations (including schools) remain open for all employees, including teachers. All employees are expected to report to work. Once more information becomes available, it will be provided. It is important to continue to check the school board website at www.tcrsb.ca and local media for updates.
We know that the uncertainty of the situation has created a tremendous level of anxiety and concern for everyone. We will continue to do our best to keep you informed.
