In the coming months, there will be changes to how we record gender in schools across Nova Scotia. These changes are the result of amendments to the Vital Statistics Act in the province. The attached document contains questions and answers that will help explain what is changing, and how these changes will impact children/youth, families and schools. The document also contains information about who to contact if you have additional questions.
