Module 7 Learning Environment Reflection

Upon completion of the readings below (Links to an external site.), reflect upon your current learning environment and describe what changes to your pedagogical approach are necessary to make the most of your current placement.

I feel very fortunate to have a one-to-one classroom school environment in which all of my students have access to their own laptops everyday. I also have five brand new desktop computers that I rarely use because the students seem to enjoy the laptops more. A few months ago, I received a interactive whiteboard in my class and I am going to need to use more self-initiative to study and seek support from colleagues to learn all the applications and implications for interactive whiteboard classroom use.

I need to consistently provide a student centered pedagogical approach and play the role of the facilitator and allow students to engage in inquiry based learning, construct knowledge and effectively use collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and opportunities to share their learning innovativley using technology with authentic audiences around the world.
