Data Science

Everyone is learning Data Science now-a-days! It seems like that adding the word 'science' to the word 'data' made it a piece of cake for everyone. I always hear people to say that it is easy to learn data science. Almost every tutorials that exist in the web start with a set of data and end up with showing some graphs claiming that they have done some science. Do we really think that it is that easy? Being someone who handled many data in a third world country without even becoming a part of the data science community, I want to investigate the corns and butters of this piece of cake. I will show some statistics and draw some graphs using real life data. It will eventually lead us to take some decisions and generate some activities. I claim that if all these data, analysis and activities solve or optimize a real life problem only then we can call it science. Otherwise, we will end up with some statistical results in our hand without any science in it. All I want to say is that it is not only the data set, statistics, r and python you need to know but also the art of managing a large operations with useful outcome for practical use is required to make it a science!
