Semi-virtualisation de formation complète en Machine Learning pour la réussite des étudiants et l’internationalisation de parcours
In the era of big data and multi-view data, knowledge extraction is a real challenge and machine learning has become an essential topic in data science. The AMSD and MLSD (Apprentissage Machine pour la Science des Données; Machine Learning pour la Science des Données) masters aim to train Data Scientists mastering different machine learning methods through multiple approaches, including deep learning, and in various areas such as text mining, NLP, image processing, anomaly detection and recommendation systems.
While the pandemic has brought us to strict containment, it has also paved the way for the dissemination of knowledge at a distance. This new digital momentum is now driving the proposal for a semi-virtual training course in machine learning within the UFR Sciences Fondamentales et Biomédicales, ML-Online. This proposal is based on a new mode of digital interaction making it possible to both organize the entire distance training course, while offering the appropriate technologies for fluid transversal communication between teachers, students and management team.
A first added value of this proposal is its ability to quickly adapt to situations of health or societal crises. The teaching team, management team and students will always be ready for a switch to full distance mode if necessary. ML-Online also facilitates the daily life of the Université Paris Cité users with reduced mobility. A second added value of ML-Online is its formidable capacity to spread beyond our borders. Thus, our proposal lays the foundations for a complete virtualization with a view to an international co-diploma. In the longer term, ML-Online will allow fruitful collaboration in research through co-graduate students wishing to pursue theses in co-supervision with the Université Paris Cité.
