Vision Statement

The Sonoraville School Library Media Program works to create a 21st century environment that promotes learning for all students by providing access to information, teaching digital citizenship, and encouraging lifelong learning. The library media center strives to be a learning commons for collaborative learning where students can create and grow in their appreciation of literature, and develop critical thinking skills.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Sonoraville School Library is to provide students with the opportunity to become responsible lifelong users of information, as well as creators of information. The library will support the curriculum through collaborations with teachers, develop a collection of material and resources to meet student and teacher needs, and implement literacy instruction for students.
