Uso de las donaciones y estadísticas - Donations, how are they used?
¿Cómo se manejan los donativos y cual es el rango de donaciones? - How are the donations managed and what is the range of donations?
Los donativos son manejados por uno de los fundadores y presidente de las becas.
Se envían un par de comunicados al año exponiendo cómo se ha manejado el dinero y a cuantos estudiantes se ha beneficiado.
Las donaciones normalmente están entre $100.000 y $1,400.000 pesos colombianos por donante por año.
The donations are managed by one of the founders and president of the scholarships.
There are communiques couple times a year explaining how many funds have been received and how much has been disbursed to the students.
The range of donations is usually between 50,000 and $1,400,000 colombian pesos per donor per year (15 to 450 USD dollars/yr).
¿Cómo se pueden hacer las donaciones? - How can you donate?
Los donantes pueden realizar sus depósitos a una cuenta en Colombia o en Estados Unidos. En caso que el donante no se encuentre en alguno de estos países, es recomendable que alguien haga el depósito por ese donante a alguna de estas cuentas.

There is an account in Colombia where you can make the deposit.
If the donor is abroad (other than the USA) we recommend to ask someone in Colombia to make the deposit. If the donor is in the USA, the donation can be made via deposit in a domestic account.

Que porcentaje de las donaciones va a los estudiantes directamente? -What percentage of the donations goes directly to the students?
100%. Todas las personas que de una u otra manera ayudan a Servus son totalmente voluntarias. Las camisetas o busos que se han entregado no son parte de los dineros recogidos para las becas.
100%. Everyone involved with Servus does it voluntarily. Marketing material such as T-shirts and sweatshirts have not been bought with the donations' money.
Cuantos estudiantes han ayudado desde la creación de Servus? - How many students have been helped since the beginning of Servus?
Hasta el segundo semestre de 2021 hemos ayudado a 115 estudiantes. En la U Nacional de Bogotá 51, en la U. Nacional de Palmira a 21, en la U Surcolombiana de Neiva 14, en la U de Sucre en Sincelejo 11, U Nal. de Medellín 10, UPTC Tunja 4, Univalle 3 y en UniSangil Yopal 1.
El promedio de semestres en que los becados mantienen la beca es de 3.15. Hemos entregado un total de 362 becas individuales/sencillas desde nuestra creación.

Including the 2nd semester of 2021, we have helped 115 students. At the National University in Bogota 51 students, National University in Palmira 21 students, Universidad Surcolombiana in Neiva 14 students, at the University of Sucre in Sincelejo 11, at the National University of Colombia in Medellin 10, UPTC in Tunja 4, Univalle in Cali 3 and at UniSangil - Yopal 1.
The average of having the scholarship has been of 3.15 semesters per student. A total of 362 individual/single scholarships have been awarded since our creation.
