Keep Christ In Christmas

The "Keep Christ In Christmas" initiative has been expanded by Supreme Council this year to include a poster contest and an advertising campaign. The poster contest is very similar to the Vocation Poster contest we hold later in the year. If we could get someone to chair this initiative I'd like him to spearhead the poster contest and work with local media sites to publish pre-designed materials and media available on the KofC website:

Those who know Tom Zarecki likely know that he is involved in local radio and the St. Mary music ministry. I have spoken to Tom recently about getting the Public Service Announcement (PSA) on radio during the Christmas season and he is willing to work with us. He had also advised me to contact the other stations in the area to find out how to get the PSAs on them as well. Since they are Public Service Announcements there is no cost to air them. We only need to request and they will be reviewed. They can, however be turned down by the station at their discretion.

If anyone is willing to take on the chairman position I think it is a fantastic way to promote the message among our parish and community.
