This is a monster generator based on an odd combination of the tree of life and the five Chinese elements. You fill in each of the nodes of the tree with a piece of some material and fill in a few other details (the bottom-most node is supposed to contain a statue in the desired shape, but it's material also counts) and it works out the stats and other details of the resulting creature. If you put in the same materials, you'll get very nearly the same creature every time (randomness is only used to break ties in a few places).
I wrote this program for a game I ran. The players were allowed to interact with the device in game, so I needed something to help decide what happened when they put a bunch of random materials in. It could just be used to generate some random monsters though.
This program is still a work in progress. Among other things, the output is not a complete, usable-as-is stat block, but that is one of my goals.
