Ship History: The SS Albatross is a decommissioned Wayfarer class starship of the Federation Merchant Marine. After being constructed in the year 2330, the Albatross served several decades of duty under various crews until finally being decommissioned in the year 2380. She was acquired by Ricky Harris a freelance freighter captain in the year 2390. Eventually Harris and his crew ended up in the Delta Quandrant with several successful years of business. In 2410 while charting a possible route through the Purple Nebula, the SS Albatross was attacked by a group of pirates and slavers. After taking the cargo and crew, the Albatross was left behind to drift through the nebula until 2415 when she was stumbled upon by the former crew of the T’mur.
