Personal History: A graduate of Star Fleet Academy, Ra-Im is a skilled pilot with expertise in a variety of crafts. She left Star Fleet at age 28 after crashing an experimental shuttle craft. An exhaustive investigation found no sign of equipment failure and six Star Fleet officers determined that pilot error had caused the mishap. Conceding error on her part was possible, she nevertheless insisted the experimental navigation system was at fault and refused to accept a demotion, instead negotiating a service separation. Now a civilian pilot, she harbors mild bitterness toward Star Fleet given that two other pilots had similar incidents after she left the fleet. She refuses to consider a return to Star Fleet. A risk taker, she enjoys games of chance, high stakes gambling, and just about any kind of contest of skill. Quick tempered, she rarely holds a grudge. Extroverted, she hates being alone and often instigates social activities to avoid being by herself.
