Barlos Tayor was in need of a job to get money to get schooling to become an engineer. Finding a job on his home planet of Enara Prime was not easy. Luckily he had some friends located around Setlin that knew there were a lot of job opportunities in Port City. So he left his planet and went to Setlin in search of work. His parents were fully supportive of him leaving home.

He arrived in Port City, Setlin. During his several months before starting work, Barlos spent time with friends, job hunting, and playing a Enaran instrument. He was a pretty typical guy. He had popped out of many small jobs for years. Nothing seemed to be paying quite right. Finally he found out that there was one job that payed a lot for little education. So he landed a slightly unusual, yet magnificent job. He became a general security guard in the city's hub.

By thing time Barlos Tayor was in his late 20s. He figured the possibility of getting back to his engineering path was slim to none. Good thing was, he liked working security.

About the age of 30 Barlos gave up his dream of engineering to adopt the dream of law enforcement. He went through 6 months of training and tested to join the SFPD (Sector F Police Department). He passed and is now a patrol officer in Sector F.
