Alton Woodward has been as much of a fixture onboard the Axel as any of the ship’s parts. It’s unclear just how old Alton is, but he’s always given the same simple answer: “Boy, there’s dirt on the homeworld younger ‘n me.” He serves as the Quartermaster and Armorer aboard the Seiklon Axel, and despite his advanced age, is quite an asset to have in a fight. His service record is blank past his tenure onboard the Axel, and his paystub simply puts him at 60 years of age. Alton claims to have served in the Starfleet Marine Corps, a claim that can be verified by the authentic corps-issued dog tags he still wears around and the marine phase pistol he wears on his hip. He is also fond of carrying around antique revolvers and often uses them to surprise opponents when in battle. With a fatherly smile and a mock gruff demeanor, Alton is a helping hand and a colorful character. Wise, crotchety at times, and sometimes bordering on senile, the old man has become an integral part of the ship and crew.
