The soul of a witch is usually purple and is shaped like a human soul. However, witches like Shaula Gorgon may show that this isn't always the case. The Soul Wavelength of a witch is also distinguishable, though this cannot be physically seen.

A Death God (死神, Shinigami; also "Bringer of Death") is a powerful true god who presides overbalance.

The Death Gods mostly seem to possess the appearance of that of a human. However, a Death God can also assume an inhuman form, much like Death has. It's possible that he also retains a human form as well. Perhaps the most known attribute of the Death God is the Lines Of Sanzu, which seems to be the source of their power.

A Grigori (天使型エグリゴリ, Egurigori) is an incredibly rare soul-type and are said to appear in only one in fifty million people.

The soul of an individual who possesses a Grigori typically takes on the appearance of a normal soul with a pair of angel's wings along with a halo on top in some form in their soul. The appearance is not only exclusive to the soul; angelic-looking wings also seem to appear on the Soul Wavelength of those who possess a Grigori soul.

An extremely rare soul type, those with a Grigori Soul possess the ability to take flight. However, it is only possible If the user has some form of a "medium" to utilize the ability of flight.

A Kishin Egg (also Afreet Egg) is a soul type that an evil individual gains from acts of evil and runs the risk of becoming a Kishin.

Individuals who become Kishin eggs enter the first stage of becoming a Kishin. Due to their crimes, their souls become corrupt. The soul appears to be a dark hue red, the tail appears to be a much more light and brighter red color. The middle of the soul is purple and surrounded by hexagonal plates. However, undergoing the process makes one lose their sanity and even humanity.

A Strong Soul (強靭な魂, Kyōjin'na Tamashī) is an incredibly rare soul-type that signifies great power.

Among Humans, possessors of Strong Souls are capable fighters more than the average individual. Unlike normal Human souls, a single Strong Soul is worth about 99 Evil Human souls.

Monster Cats (化け猫, Bake Neko) are monstrous feline beings capable of performing Magic.

Monster Cats have both a human form and a cat form as well as feline features. They seem to behave like traditional cats, having an affinity for eating fish. The soul of a Monster Cat has been seen to be very witch-like in appearance, possessing a purple hue in color in the anime. In the manga, however, it is indistinguishable from that of a human soul in color.

Monster Cats possess multiple souls, allowing them to survive death a number of times before being killed permanently.

A Vibrant Soul (活気のあるKakkinoaru) Takes on the form of multiple glowing colors on one soul. Those in possession of this soul type are typically seen as kind warm and outgoing individuals. They generally offer more resilience during hard times not letting fear get to them. This soul type does in fact cause more of an immunity to madness (it takes much longer for it to take effect on them). The only thing is, possessors of it find it hard to fight with others.

A Hierophant Soul (ヒエロファントHierofanto) is represented by heather purple with mulberry purple swirls. These souls are very devout to something they believe in, having high obedience to higher authority or their partner. They are submissive in nature, quiet, have restraints, and somewhat romantic. These souls have a faster recovery rate for only themselves. While it make take someone weeks or even months to recover a broken bone, they can do so in about 3 weeks.

The Atelidae Soul (アテリ科 Ateri-ka) typically resembles a normal humans soul but with the addition of a protrusion resembling a tail as well as taking on a green color. Those who possess this soul type to allow them to sprout a prehensile tail which matches in the strength of their arms, allowing for much more flexibility. Though the tail is similar to a limb and the user will still feel pain in certain cases. The tails coming out of the actual humans can appear different from person to person— but not the soul.

SteadFast Souls (不動

Fudō) appearance resembles a normal humans soul but much less translucent, Almost taking on a somewhat darker blue color. Those with this soul type possess the uncanny overwhelming weight to themselves without losing much of their speed. (This can be up to quadruple their weight at times.)
