The DWMA (Death Weapon Meister Academy) is a school and organization founded by Death to train Meisters and Demon Weapons, maintain world order, and prevent the uprising of another Kishin. The Academy serves a multitude of purposes; it exists to teach individuals from when they're young, as well as supervise them, and protect the world from the evil lurking in it. The school is run by the headmaster (Lord Death), though is supported by trusted instructors and faculty members within the school.

Being a school, there are various rules at the DWMA. Known rules include:

If two students are dueling on school grounds, at least one of the faculty members must be present to witness.
Taking souls that are not on Shinigami's List is forbidden
Taking too many souls is forbidden.
It is forbidden to actively hunt a Witch without an Execution Order given by the headmaster.
Rule #118: In the event of an emergency, students are allowed to walk into the Death Room without permission.

An Important Meeting Occurs: Regarding Madness.

It was learned the Teacher Hitoshi has taken effects from the spreading of madness but the direct source is unknown.

The last mission he attended was with fellow teacher Tadashi, where they fought and killed a witch.

Next, in class, he seemed to start having some issues. This was a shame due to the fact it was his first class, and even though he had a colder personality the in fact was excited. Ryuu took over for him in this class.

The staff of the DWMA realizes students know something is wrong. Many were concerned for their teacher and had demanded answers.

Now the issue was: Do they release the Information, or hold back and keep it all a secret?
